Hey, I seem to have a weird problem. Neither of these hard reset options work for me. I've tried many times holding the H button down and no dice and I don't have the hard reset program on my phone. Ugh! Any other ideas? I need to reset the phone because I'm getting the error message that says "the file whatever.exe cannot be opened..." for all my applications and now my device isn't recognized by active sync. I have a bad feeling about all this...

Amanda, did you already do a Hard Reset? If so, then you may need to use the warranty.

I'm going to check out Flexilis. If you can save all of your device settings that would be great. Is there a way to save device settings (ring tones, email settings, etc) to your SD card?

My epix will not power on unless it is plugged in (either wall or USB) and then once it gets to the Windows Mobile screen, it cuts off. If I am plugged into the USP port, it does this over and over. The whole time the red light flashes slowly on and off. Can someone PLEASE help me??
Thanks!

What gets lost when you choose Device for hard reset?

I don't care about themes and such, and I don't have many files or data on there (I'm 1 week into my Epix).

Will all my WiFi setup go (I entered keys and such)?
What about the Exchange sync and Yahoo mail settings?

Not a major problem ... just want to know how much time to set aside for this procedure.

(Even better if you have suggestions for WiFi. I've followed many of the procedures for getting WiFi to work for browsing--like check no proxy for IE--but it hasn't worked yet. I connect to the AP at home or at work, but browsing with IE gets stuck on Locating .... Other users say the hard reset got it to work, so I want to try that.)

manorden - the only way to do that is store anything you want saved on a microSD card. You can use a service like Flexilis to backup your contacts (you should have unlimited data if you plan on using Flexilis though)

When performing a hard reset, does it affect your sim card or sd card?

I am wanting to reset both my phone and sd card, but I don't want anything erased off the sim.
