    2. Send the CAB file using Bluetooth

  4. Navigate to the folder containing the CAB file (generally “My Documents”)

I installed google maps and was wondering if I can delete the CAB file now that I have the program installed, and if so how?

Plus, since installing goole maps, I noticed that my amount of free space under program, not storage, is lower… is this the amount of space to run a program, verces to store something?

If so, is this because I installed google maps? And who can I shut down some programs to get this number back up if this is the problem?

    Thank you

I installed mobile google directly on my phone and then decided I didn’t need it so I removed it the way described above however the icon still appears under programs. If I click on it I just get an error message saying it can’t be opened so I think it did definitely uninstall but I would like to get rid of the icon. Do you know how I can do this? Also, is there a way to move programs to different menus? For example, I downloaded a game and it is in my program menu but I would like it to be with the other games. Thanks

Nevermind, I found my answers in the Tips and Tricks section. I was able to use file explorer to delete the icon and move the game. :)

Hi. Total newbie here. Just to clarify . . . Under point 2 (“Transfer the CAB to your phone . . .”), the items listed (ActiveSync, Bluetooth, microSD card, web download) are options, correct? In other words, I can transfer the CAB file using ActiveSync OR Bluetooth OR a microSD OR by downloading from the web, yes? Sorry if this is a silly question, but I’m new to this! :-)
