To everyone as frustrated and angry has i’am by the way htc is neglecting the owners of the htc hd2 go ahead and post your petition on the following blog (http://windowsphone7updatehtchd.blogspot.com/). lets make ourselfs be heard since we have the hardware and htc sense only makes sense while disguising the flaws of the native windows mobile explorer menus and windows designed for resistive screens. let us show them we paid to get some supporta nd that means the proper hardware support wich they chose not to gives for some reason and the apps our devices have never seen due to the poor experience of wm 6.5 on thi device

Now the website says April 2010! Was Microsoft not done or is AT&T/Samsung just dragging their heals in releasing it? Of course if they are holding it until it is bug free that is fine by me. I would rather get it at some later date and be bug free than to get it now.

Woah woah woah guys! Let’s not get too excited about the published February date on the site. It seems like Microsoft has been publishing dates initially only to change them to a later date later on. At the time I am writing this, this, the HTC Omnia still says December 2009, that’s less than 48 hours left to go. I’ll keep my fingers crossed to hopefully see something by February 28th, 2010 but I’m not going to lose any sleep in anticipation.

I hope it’s early Feb rather than late Feb. I’ve already decided I’m getting an HTC HD2 (breaking contract with AT&T about 6 months early) as soon as it releases on T-Mobile. I hope I get at least 1 month to use 6.5 on my Epix before that.

Until then, dare I hope that the new ROM will be more performant, fix the GPS lock delay and battery drain issue, and stop that infernal on-screen keyboard from popping up..
