Internet sharing is working for me without installing any specific apps.
With a Toshiba notebook, initially there is no traffic, IP cannot be assigned etc...
I have to disable and re-enable the BT PAN on the notebook, after that it is working properly.
On my company Dell machine it is working without this trick.

Allow us encounter it. The PS3 Yellow Light of Death is definitely an individual of the most irritating challenge players could encounter. You might have put in a few hundred in purchase to buy the console. And now you encounter this dilemma. In reality, it is absolutely possible to repair this challenge. Yet, you have to take some time to do so. And right here are three guidelines for you.

A quick path to working connection sharing is a search for ForceCellConnection in the registry and change its value to "Media Net".. No need to download or install anything.

Just tried out on with the 6.5 update and it still appears to work (did not run on it but options appear).
Just remember - need to install the unlocker ( http://www.mysamsungepix.com/hacks-and-mods/application-unlockers/samsung-epix-application-unlocker/ ) first then this. After both .cab files have been installed reboot your phone and you should be good to go.

Brian- try turning the phone off and then back on after installing, this worked for me

Kevin- AT&T won't know because you are using the exact same amount of data as you would if viewing on your phone, unless of course you really use it a lot

I am very interested in being able to use my Epix as a modem for my Windows 7 PC, but after talking to an ATT tech, he said it requires a tethering feature that is an additional $20 a month. Does this hack violate that ATT agreement?" If so, how do you get around it, i.e., how do you justify it? I would really like to use the hack, but not sure I could if its not "right". Any thoughts? Thanks
