Weird Text Message after i get a voicemail

I have a epix with the stock rom, when i get a voicemail, i get a weird text message with a lot of letters and numbers. Does anybody know how to stop this?

It sucks to keep getting text messages.

The wierd txt messages are due to the visual voicemail. Did you use an iphone before putting the sim into your epix ? If you don't want visual voice mail (plan to use epix only) then you have to all AT&T customer service and ask them to shut off visual voicemail. That will put an end to those strange txt messages.
