One of my annoyances with the Epix is that it doesn't return to the last active open application after it goes into sleep mode/”turns off”. I have the device set to “turn off” if it's not used for X minutes. When I hit the power button on the upper left side to “turn the device back on” it goes to the home screen and not back to the application I was working with.

An example is when I'm using Google Maps. I have a map open, and if I don't interact with the device for X minutes it shuts off and I have to either re-launch Google Maps when I turn the device back on or I have to go to Task Manager and 'Switch To' the open Google Maps application to get back to where I was pre-”turn off”. It's uber annoying. Is there something I can do differently to resolve this problem?
