hi
does anyone else besides me have trouble installing skins on win media player on the epix???
I can not get wm player to find skins when looking for them no matter how i download them into the program/windows media player folder on the phone. whether i load the entire skin folder or all the individual files, the player still will not find them when i look in the options tab.
they are always found when i look in file explorer in the wm player folder. looked in most forums on the net but no answers,
any help is appreciated, can use wm player because it's buttons are too small!!!!!

hi , not quite sure what u mean can i link to skins.
i can download alright and if zipped files can unzip ok and install on phone, just when i go to options tab in wm player to find new skins, only default skin and the samsung skin are found.

Can you provide the URLs to the Web site/pages that you downloaded these skins from? Im asking so I can try them out. Its hard to say without looking at the skins you are trying to install.

I went to this site to get mine. It has the same file type as the samsung skin but wont show up when you search for skins…

i dont think it has anything to do with the downloads. i tried using previously good skins that were working fine on my palm treo 750 that had win mo 6.0. also made sure they were for a square qvga screen. i also made sure all the skins had a *.skn extension. i think there might be something in the epix' registry settings or rom that is preventing it from accepting/finding other skins other than the win mo player or samsung default skins.
