Hi All,

I got my Samsung Epix i907 last week through Craiglist.  It only came with the wall charger.  I did get a usb cable at Fry's.  I have downloaded Microsoft Windows Mobile Device Center (ver 6.1) on my Toshiba laptop which is running Vista 32-bit SP2.  I also downloaded and installed the Samsung modem drivers.  But my laptop doesn't see the Epix.  I have read many of the discussions in this forum and have not seen any solutions.

Is there any written instructions?

Thanks in advance for any support from anyone.

I have also had this same issue withmy epix. When I got the phone, my laptop was able to see it, but a few months ago, my usb ports stopped working. A few months later, they started working again, but now my pc doesn't see my epix (although WMDC says I am connected). The only way I can keep my phone and pc synced is manually with Microsoft Myphone. Getting ready to try an Iphone. Any reasons why I shouldn't?

P.Boyer,

Thanks for the message.  I still have not been able to communicate with the Epix via my laptop but I have been loading programs by using the micro-SD card and a card reader.  I hope the update in 2010 will fix this.  Can't afford or justify getting the Iphone yet.  Good luck.
