I am currently using an 8GB Micro SD card and it's been working great for over 10 months now. But recently I started having issues with the phone not being able to run applcations loaded on the SD (e.g. TomTom Navigator6). I am thinking of replacing the SD but all I can find is the SDHC types of Micro SD cards available now.

I read somewhere that even though the Epix supports up to 8GB Micro SD cards, Samsung only recommends using the 2GB cards. But this one has been working great. lately though, I try to run an application and I hear the sound indicating that the SD has been inserted, then the sound indicating the SD has been removed and then the app just dies.

…if the SD card just coming out or are you removing it? If it's coming out without ur desire…sounds like a hardware prob with the mechanism that keeps the card in place…idk

Either way, if the application is installed on the SD card…the application can't run without the card inserted…

..just ignore this if I am confusing what your are saying the problem is…

I have an 8GB micro SD card….filled w/4 GB's of music…and a bunch of games…and skype mobile…all on the card…non will work on the device w/out the card being inserted though…which is understandable….like pulling out a hardrive…
