I finally got all the pieces together yesterday and performed the ID1 patch (we won't get into that mess here) on my i907.  I made a call, and that worked.  I had a friend send me a text message to see if that part was still working, and sure enough, it still worked.  Now, the same friend sent me a MMS picture later in the day, which I opened without any problems.  But now, on my today screen, it says “1 unread message”.  I go to the message screen, and there are no new messages.  I chech the upper left selection box, to change folders, and it has “Inbox (1)”  I even went as far as to delete everything in the inbox, and it still says there's a new message.  I've searched for this problem, and it has come up on other Samsung phones, but I have not seen anyone linking it to the Epix yet.  Does any one have an idea as to the issue or possibly a fix?
