so I installed rlToday and the OS X theme cab just fine…set the backgroud pic and the only flaw I keep having is that the icons on the bottom are not viewable…they are clickable, but I just can't see them…is this a compatiablity issue or did I miss install somehow? any thoughts?

Jay,
Did you got into the rlToday settings and select up to 5 apps that you want to show up on the “Dock” .. They should default to use the program's default icon, however I recommend manually setting each App icon to an icon in the /Program Files/rlToday/OS X Leopard/icons folder if an applicable icon exists…
To set the App icons:
Start > Settings > Today > Item's Tab > rlToday > Options
Select “OS X Leopard”
Apps Tab > Highlight one of the Apps and press “Edit”
Use the “Custom Icon” field to select a new image for the App's icon. (You can make your own if you want, i suggest to make them 42×42px)
…
What applications do you have listed in your rlToday apps list?

ya, i got the theme to work..you were right, the default icons for the programs are the ones that weren't showing up, but the default ones did…now the only problem i have is to get rid of the stupid intellisync icon on the bottom so the OS theme shows all on one screen without scrolling…thanks!

Jay,
Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro has that pesky “System Tray” at the bottom of the Today screen that can sometimes list applications that are running — It shows up when you are connected to your Epix using ActiveSync. Unfortunately I don't know how to stop it from showing up. If anyone knows, post here and I'll update the Theme file.
Most of the time you can config the application that shows up in the “System Tray” to not show up by modifying the programs settings or preferences (Like Palringo).

I wish, but my company uses Intellisyc for the wireless push for Novell Groupwise and there is no setting anywhere in that POS software to take it off the home screen…maybe i'll mess with it a little more…i think part of my frustration is that there were sooo many themes for the BJII and so little to date for the Epix…but I know it's only a matter of time so since I love the phone other than that I can be patient…

Jay,
You've checked to make sure intellisync isn't listed in Start > Settings > Personal Tab > Today > Items .. right?

I also had problems with the icons showing up. I found it better to manually assign an icon for the shortcuts you want.
You can find a lot of icons on google. Search their images for 'png' images for things such as calander, notebook, etc. Set the search preferences to small… the images don't have to be 42×42, even the 48×48 sized ones look ok.
