I just got a Samsung Epix to replace my BJ II and so far I love it…I just have two questions.

1. How do I make it so when I push the red “End” key, there is no tone that sounds? For example, when I press that to exit out of a program back to the Today screen, I don't want it to make a tone.

2. When the phone is in locked mode, how do I make it so the only way to make the screen come back on is to press the power button? When it's in my pocked, whenever a button is pressed, the screen lights up.

To answer #2:

Go to Settings->Personal Tab->Wake up Button

This will give you the option to have the phone wake up by pressing any button or just the power button.

I accidently double posted, but i figured my qusetion out, if anyone is curious.

As J.D. said, set the wakeup button to any button.   Everytime you want to shut down/turn off the phone, hold the red lock key.  Then later, when you press any wake up button, it'll wake up, but stay locked.

(My problem from before was that I was pressing the Power button to turn it off, and when i pressed any key, it would be straight on, instead of locked.  I had assumed that the power button would lock the phone too.)
