I saved my contact list to sim from my old Samsung phone. Transfered it to my newly purchased (used) Epix. But can't find where to access the contact list from the the sim card. Is syncing from a PC the only way to transfer this info the my Epix?

Not sure if this is what you're looking for but to see the SIM contact only, go in to the Contacts application on the Epix, select the menu soft key and scroll to “Filter”. Choose SIM contacts. From there you should be able to choose the “Copy” option from the same menu soft key and copy the SIM contact to the Device contacts.

My Epix shows:

Menu

“Filter”

-All Contacts

-Recently Viewed

-No Catagories

I don't have -SIM contacts- as a choice.


I may not have stated my question accurately:

When I installed the SIM from my Samsung SGH-A237 to my Epix,

the contact info does not appear (at least I haven't been able to find it)

Although the Epix does show my phone number, so it read some info from the SIM.

I found the problem.

I didn't properly save my contacts to the SIM from my old phone—duh!

Things seem to work better when done correctly…
