Inadvertantly deleted my voicemail speed dial (#1), and short of doing a hard reset, cannot figure out how to get it back. Anybody have any suggestions?

i believe you mean by holding the “1/E” key so it autodials to your voicemailbox ? if thats the case, am sure its part of the same 'process' that is responsible for using the camera button, email, AT&T-mall and what-not. Those can be edited, I believe its on this forum “somewhere” (sorry). If you mean you lost your voicemailbox # in your contacts, just make a new contact labeled “Voicemail” (that's how it's labeled in mine (AT&T) and put in the correct number, you may have to call the '611'-customer support so they can give you the correct number. It is my understanding that the “function-buttons”-process looks after correctly labeled entries/filenames to make them work, as they are nothing more than shortcuts – i know because for some idiotic reason my “email/messages”-button doesnt work, i get the”error opening the shortcut or locating the target filename”
hope that helps
cheers

Atlana – yeah, the entire “1″ key in speed dial has been deleted. A menu came up asking if I wanted to permanently delete, and I accidentally said yes. Should be some quick way to restore this w/o doing a full hard reset. Even went into my local AT&T office with the phone, and they were stumped as to restoring this. Hard to believe the Epix's ROM would allow you to delete this shortcut in error.

when in doubt call 611 and pray that they know something about the phones the sell and the services the provide, because unfortunantly there are quite a few att reps that dont know what the samsung epix is (I amlost cried).

I'd rather call SAMSUNGs hotline instead, it's their ROM practically (they just put the stuff in aditionally that AT&T “wanted” them to add). I trust Samsungs tech support WAY MORE than AT&Ts

My 1 initially wasn't even setup on my device and other voicemail links dial some local number that is the master voicemail number for your area. Knowing from other phones though, usually on your cell…dialing your own number gets voicemail, so I set it up to that and it worked.
