I read the 'How to install the cab file' and in step 6 (If pompted you will generally want to install software to your Device rather than a Storage Card). Is there a reason to installing sofware to Device rather than a Storage card? I always choose Storage Card to save my phone memory. Thanks.

Tom,
Running programs off the Storage Card can be slower than running them straight off the device.

Is that the only reason? Thanks.

The only other reason would be if you take your card out you wont be able to run your apps which is common sense.

Isn't there a registry edit to speed up data transfer between Micro SD and phone. If I am not mistaken there was one for the BlackJack.

gym, I haven’t heard of one, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t possible… Are you sure you aren’t confusing this with increasing the system cache? (which would make recently read data from a SD card available more quickly to the OS) ?

check out blackjackusers under “speed up SD card access” in “Tips and Tricks ”
There is an old link there, I think it's dead.
