Samsung Epix Forums

I like the mouse on the Epix, very handy.  However, my previous phone had a 4-way button (up down left right) that I am missing.  I know the Epix can set the mouse to work as 4-way navigation.  Is there any way to have both functions?  Are there any other keys that can be mapped to up down left right?  I like to be able to select an email (without opening it) using the cursor or a button, so I can quickly go through my emails and delete garbage.  With the mouse active as a mouse, there doesn't seem to be any way to just highlight/select an email from my list of emails.  The only way I can select an email seems to be to actually open it, which I don't want to do in this case.  

The same question applies when editing text, how can I move the cursor a few letters to the left or the right, with the mouse set to mouse mode?
