My epix had the “waking up” issue


What causes Samsung I907 Epix to turn on backlight every 4 minutes?

and is there way to fix it?

couldn't find any settings that will eliminate this behavior

Check out any instant messaging program you are using.  It is most likely some third party software that is causing this.  Try uninstalling each piece of software and see if it goes away.


Can't think of anything else but this used to happen on a different winmo phone of mine.
