It's now called Mobile Device Center or Sync Center in Vista… but I believe this is what you're looking for.

I'm using Active Sync with XP 64 and don't have any problems, but I don't know about Vista 64. Good Luck! Hope the link is helpful.

Sometimes you have to Toggle the Advanced Networking option in the USB to PC options under Conenctions tab to get Vista's built-in Active Sync to work.  If I remember right you have to turn it off…which goes backwards in my optinion since Vista should have supported the newer connections.

I actually like it off though since it doesn't create a network connection for every device you connect…also works better with VPN, and with Wireless when they have the Disconnect on Wired Connection set.
