I read in another site that there is an application to modify keys that allows the Volume Rocker to become scroll up/down which would be a much better function.  I hate installing apps though and have found Registry/File tweaks for pretty much all of the same functionality other apps do, so find it useless to install an app that is possibly unsecure.

Does anyone know a possible location in Registry or File to modify the key mapping?  I've changed mappings on Symbol/Motorola HHCs before, but not cell phones…I may eventually find it at which point I'll post, but if known already it would be great.

I mentioned I didn't want an application.  Especially one that appears to have to remain resident to get the functionality.
