This one disable the the assisted part of the agps. The gps receiver will still be operational but it will not connect to At&T server for GPS data. AGPS allow faster lock because it download the data through internet in addition to data broadcast by the satelite. I do not have data connection hence every once in a while the connection notification will pop-up notifiying me of failed data connection which is annoying expecially while using the GPS and driving.

I have changed the operation mode to 0 and have downloaded numerous gps Apps, but they still can not find sat's. I have the com port set to 1 and 9 with 4800 baud rate? what am I doing wrong, or is there a specific GPS App that works the best?
