Hello there!! ive got two questions… Can you change the colors when you text?? or is it only black. 2nd, is it me or does your epix have an increasing ringtone..(low than high) i went to settings mode ,but when i put it to jus ring it still rings from low to high… any suggestions???

Unfortunately SMS does not support “styling” of text – be that colors, bolding, italics, etc. You *might* be able to do it in a MMS message but i'm not sure.

The Samsung Epix does have increasing ring volume no matter what ringtone settings mode you use (i think there is a setting for Ring and Ring Increasing, yet they both act as “ring increasing”). Apparently Samsung did this to protect their customers' ears — they didnt want lawsuits if a user had the Epix up to their ear and a call came in and rang really loud right right into their ear.. seems silly to me.

I'll be making a post in a couple days on how to increase the volume of the ring, though it will still be “increasing” in volume.

i noticed it too that there is no settings to turn off the increasing ringing volume.

i dont mind if its increasing, but does anyone know if you can increase the senconds of ringtime before voicemail picks up? i found only a setting for automatic pickup in seconds when using handsfree feature.
