Samsung Epix Forums

I've been using the Samsung Epix since February of last year, and I love the phone. Minus it's random habit of not wanting to accept calls (Rings once then dumps to voice mail with no chance to answer the call because of how short the one ring is), Randomly muting itself (I installed the volume hack for that), and then not wanting to update to the new firmware. I'm at a loss for what to do with the phone. I love it to death for a bunch of silly reasons, but i've been eyeing the Jack now. 

Does anyone have experience with the Jack? Is it as easy to hack as the Epix, and can I get the same kind of hacks? (Custom text sounds, no escalating ringtones (If it uses that stupid piece of security), Tethering). Any flaws in the Jack that the Epix doesn't have? 

Any kind of advice would be appreciated.

I haven't updated to 6.5, and without the USB wire it'll be pretty hard to do that. I could just go buy one easily, but i'm in the market for a new phone anyways. I'm sick of these firmware issues with the Epix; not being able to recieve all calls and texts. I don't like Touch screens much anyways, I never use the touchscreen on my Epix. I always use the optical mouse thing. I love it. 

Android is awesome, but on AT&T Android is a joke. The Aria is gimped (Or so i've heard from a lot of people/seen on a lot of websites), and I won't touch that abortion known as the Backflip or whatever. I wish the Motorola Droid worked on AT&T, that looks very solid. I've started to think AT&T is reduced now to iPhone or bust; and I don't want an iPhone. I feel weird enough using my iPod touch…
