I tried to register my phone on the Samsung site with the serial number (like it calls for), but it didn't work.  I clicked the “where is my model/serial number?” link, and it indicated that I should use the IMEI number.  When I tried that, it said it was an invalid number.  Anybody else have this problem?

Steve-B, I didnt even know you could register your Epix on Samsung.com .. Does this aid in Samsung Warranty support?

I assume that it would – otherwise, what would be the point?  I was hoping to be advised of any recalls and / or product upgrades, firmware upgrades, etc.

Besides, I'm one of those people who just have to register his electronics.
