I've read alot of reviews for the Epix and I really dig the phone, but I had a question about the alarm.

Every night I put my current cell phone on the charger and use it as an alarm to wake up in the morning, will that be a problem with this phone? I heard that the alarms dont work when the phone is on standby (which i assume it would be at night while I charge it).

I hope this works because it's very important that my cell phone's alarm clock works.

Yes, the Epix does ring when on charger or in standby-/sleep-mode. It even rings the alarms when it's set on VIBRATE or SILENCE. But you've to explicitly enable that in the options of CLOCKS & ALARMS.

You can even have your own alarm sounds, but they have to be .WAV format or .WMA and have to be put into the /WINDOWS directory
