hum,
shouldnt be then a review about the Epix on the SAMSUNG site instead? AT&T doesnt make the Epix, Samsung does. AT&T just relabeled it, forces us to “deal with it” and AT&T's pre-installed junk most people dont need and cannot be uninstalled on the normal ways w/o hacking the phones filesystem. Not to mention that the Epix as a device per sey exist already since JAN 2008, but with a QVGA webcam built-in in the front, so you can actually do video-phoning, which you cannot with the Epix. AT&T gives a rat's ass' about WHAT phone you use, all THEY want to, is to keep you for another two years locked down in a contract in these economically uncertain times
So basically AT&T wanted the Epix “feature castrated” compared with SAMSUNGs original designs. Not to mention AT&T's tries to rip us users off for wanting more money just so we can surf the internet. tethering your device cost you SIXTY USD per month, average highspeed Internet Provider cost you between 20 to 30 USD per months; and AT&T doesnt have to maintain or worry about the “last mile” of the connection-line into your home, unlike Cable-internet or DSL or fiber-optics. I pay only 19 bucks for unlimited, tethered internet, because i grandfathered in for MANY years – of course i had to pay 200 USD more for getting my epix, since i did NOT wanted my current plans changed; but those 200 are amortized within half a year, considering i pay a lot less monthly.
So, In my humble opinion, kudo's to Samsung, flames to AT&T
cheers

PS: this wasnt intended as a rant against you, e-10, just against AT&T – but i wanted to get things into a different perspective.
