According to the FAQs on the Samsung patch link, “If I Purchase A New SGH-i907, Will It Come With ID1 Software?”  “Yes. ID1 will be rolled into the current production process.”

I'm receiving my new Epix later this week (07/30/09) can I assume that the patch is already applied?  How do I check?

If your PDA is pi907UCID1, then you have the update.


If your phone does not have the update and you plan on using your gps, DO NOT install the ID1 update, as it totally screws the gps.
