Hello
I'm trying to flash/update my Epix with GrandPrix v1.6.4 but it never sees my Epix even thought I can sync it with ActiveSync. Any idea on what to try or any other flash utilities to use
Thanks!

If you're running on a Vista computer, make sure you run GrandPrix as Administrator ..i.e right clilck on GP icon and choose “Run as Administrator”

Hello Steve
I upgraded to Windows 7, and have my epix up and running fine, but again GrandPrix does not see it Do I need to add updates or other patches in order for GandPrix to see it, just want toi double check all the bases.
Thanks Bill

Bill,
What version of Windows 7 are you running? 32 bit or 64 bit?
I have 64 bit, and it was a TOTAL pain in the arse to get my Win7 machine to recognize my Epix phone in order to perform the ROM upgrade. I eventually had to find a 32 bit machine to use, and the upgrade process went fine from there.
The piece you may be missing is having the correct drive for the phone. I downloaded the driver here:
http://org.downloadcenter.sams…..4.40.7.exe
If you're plugging your phone in and it's not being recognized, look in the Device Manager (Start -> Control Panel -> Device Manager) and see if there is an “unrecognized device” in there that looks like it could be the Epix. If you do find something like that, choose the 'update driver' option and point it to the driver files you downloaded from the above link.
I hope that helps.
Mozeltov,
Sven

I just upgraded my Vista computer to Windows 7 (32 bit) after searching to make sure GrandPrix would stiill function with the new OS. All indications would say so and you shouldn't need anything different.
I won't know for sure until I have the need to try again.
