So I haven't had my phone for too long, but with my old BJII I could go during the week with charging it every other night. But with my Epix it seems if I don't charge it every night during the week I'll get a message during the day telling me my battery is low. I do have my phone synced with an Exchange server and checking my Gmail. I know that eats up a lot of juice, that and being in 3G eats it up too.
The question I have is how long does everybody elses battery last?
Thanks!

I have to say that I think that I have a lot of the settings set to minimize the battery and I actually don't use it as a phone too much unless I'm driving.
Mine syncs over the air to Exchange server and I have it set to only deliver mail when there is a new item so it isn't always polling. Also set to do this only during prime time. I manually sync just when I need it outside of prime time.
Backlight is set to the second from the bottom with timeouts at 30 seconds. Kbd backlight is set for 5 second timeout.
I get at least two days unless I am using the GPS in which case a full battery will be dead in 2 hours if it isn't plugged in to the car charger. (TomTom software keeps the backlight lit at max and the GPS receiver uses juice too)

You may want to check your task manager from time to time to make sure only the programs you want running are running. I noticed a difference from doing this.

I check it all the time, I usually only let Active Sync and Messages run. Maybe I just got a battery that doesn't like to charge all the way. Or I should just tell people to stop emailing me so much. Oh well, I guess I'll just deal with it for now.

I think my battery last for about 48 hours with lots of tinkering and about 1 hour of solitaire
I charged mine on 25th evening (not full/green but shows 100%), and today 27/01 morning it still shows 80%. Not too much tinkering with about 1 hour of solitaire, a few sms, few minutes of phone call. My signal is mostly Edge, and rarely 3G.

The battery life on my Epix is very good compared to my Tilt (1800 mAh stock battery in Epix, 1600 mAh Seidio battery in Tilt). My Tilt would last me from 7am through 3-4pm or worse (with 3G off). On weekends it would lest me through 6-7pm. Some days it would barely make it to noon. The Epix (with 3G on) gets me through midnight and still has 20-30% left. Usage patterns are similar — a ton of incoming email (1 exchange and 2 IMAP accounts), a dozen outgoing emails, a few calls (1-2h total), browsing on and off. I've also added 20 min of GPS to the Epix routine as a test (would never do that on Tilt if not plugged in).
That said, as far as “lasting for days on one charge w/ Epix”… Not even close for me. Even on the weekends with light usage I doubt I'd make it two full days. There are probably a few things I can do to squeeze a bit more time, but the only way I'd get two days is by leaving the phone untouched for two days.

Yep that sounds like me too, I could almost make it 2 days during the weekends on lite usage. But during the week if I don't charge it at night it'll go dead around noon or so the next day. I'm going to get my old charger back that came with my Blackjack I and then have 2 batteries going like I did back in the day. Then I'll be set!

Had a chance to run the phone without charging from 7 am to 2am the next morning, with a two-hour break — the phone was off (long trip home… ). Light phone usage (~1 hour total), heavy email and moderate web (heavy for about an hour). The phone was around 20% by the end. Would probably be dead by 9am next morning if I didn't plug it in.
