1/8″ headset adapter AND charger??

has anyone come accross any kind of multitap/splitter that will allow charging of the phone while the 1/8″ headset adapter is plugged in? this phone would make a great mp3 player to plug into my car stereo if i could charge it while it played.

I haven't seen one but then I haven't been looking for one.  Try Gomadic.com.  Give them a call.  They're very helpful and great service.
