What's your favorite RSS reader for the Samsung Epix? I loved the FreeRange reader for the Blackjack II, but it look pretty crappy on the Epix (I think it isnt optimized for the Epix's 320 x 320 resolution).
I want something that doesnt waste space and is easy, intuitive to navigate and is ad-free. I also would like to be able to manage my RSS feeds using my computer (i hate trying to add all my feeds by inputing them into my phone, its a joke).
Does google reader have a good WMPro 6.1 client or something?

i think google's reader is HTML/CSS/XML based web-application, not as a stand-alone like their google-maps or gmail app.
What about the RSS reader that SAMSUNG put on the Epix, under PROGRAMS – APPLICATIONS ?

atlana,
I think you're right about Google Reader's Mobile interface .. I'd much rather have a stand alone app seeing as WinMo browsers are still not that great.
i've played around with the default RSS Reader on the Epix- I think its the same one on the Blackjack II… It's ok but i really like to be able to manage my RSS feeds from a web front end on my computer. I also like being able to quick scan headlines which is hard to do with the default rss reader since it scrolls the article titles marquee-style when they are selected.
I think I may try viigo again ..

Well,
There probably aren't many readers for the epix because it was just realsed.
But you should be able to find some on google's.

Jack, Since the Samsung Epix runs Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro I think there should be a number of RSS readers out there that support the Epix — WinMo 6.1 Pro is a pretty popular Mobile OS. The only problem is the slightly unusual 320×320 pixel screen size (which is shared by other popular phones like the Treo Pro). I've been playing around with a RSS Reader called “Hub Dog” but im not sure that its the one for me …

OK,
So here are the RSS Readers i've tried out so far:
- Samsung Epix Default RSS Reader - The default reader is pretty good except the space allocated for the Articles titles is very small so its hard to know what the articles about without clicking on the article. Also, no web frontend for me to enter/manage all my RSS feeds — im not going to type in 30 RSS feed URLs into the reader on my Epix.
- FreeRange - Works great but its not optimized for the Epix's screensize so the text is all big and fuzzy
- HubDog - Too slow to load, navigation wasn't very intuitive, seemed like a lost of wasted space in layout, wasn't very “pretty”
- Viigo - So far my favorite but has some crippling problems: Viigo logo wastes space. Coming out of an article to the Article list causes a 5-10 second delay in which you can't navigate the Article list. This only seems to happen when the article you are coming “back from” is longer in length. This is incredibly annoying and is a dealbreaker.
So i'm still searching .. if you have a suggestion, let me know!
