I just installed Garmin XT mobile on my EPIX, and love the program.
The quality, user interface, and GPS accuracy is excellent.
Everything is touchscreen friendly, especially the keyboard and buttons.
Setting up, and connecting is very simple.
I don't have a data plan, and use this phone with Centennial Wireless.
The only thing I can't access is weather and small features that require Garmins website.

Garmin XT is a commercial program so you have to purchase it. Though It can be obtained through less nobel means for free online (aka google, torrent sites, etc).

Does anyone know of a version of Mobile XT that works that is obtained through previously referred to unsavory means??? I have tried to download the very popular one compiled from “Restrected” and it does not work. Any leads for me???

Make sure you are installing a Windows Mobile version. A quick google search that I just did gave me several results that were for Symbian (Nokia) phones, which would not be compatible on the Epix.

Yeah thanks but the restrected version is for a windows mobile device. I keep getting a “quesp.exe” error when I open the program…

I had it but it would not aquire GPS signal.
Coudn't figure out how to make it work and removed it.
Anyone else have this issue?
