Fn key activated by some applications

I was playing around with Viigo RSS Reader today and ran into a strange problem where when i changed screens in Viigo the Fn key would be activated (as if i tapped it twice). Even if I unset the Fn state, when I navigated to another screen in Viigo it would turn back on.

I noticed this happing the in the RDP client for PocketPC as well. I was wondering if anyone's noticed this in any other apps and if they know why this is happening.

I've noticed this as well, and the strange thing is that it never happened with my Tilt even with the same applications. I think the device type reported to the OS by this phone is such that it casues some applications to treat it as if it were a non-PDA smartphone. On a basic smartphone (no touch screen, no QWERTY), this can actually be a usual feature; but it's completely unnecessary on the Epix. Another annoying thing is that some applications insist on popping up the softscreen keyboard, which is also pointless.

There may be some registry entries that control this but somebody would have to figure out what they are.
