is opera mobile free? if not are there any others……..mozilla mobile? ;)


so i dont have to make 2 posts…….is there a way to clean up/defrag my phone…


i just got this phone and havent had a windows mobile phone in 4 years, ive checked out most the site and downloaded a few apps and games. Im afraid i may run short on memory with the more stuff i wanna do with this phone.

there's no “defrag” necessary, since you have no direct access to the memory-controller – if you're worried about free space, get a 8 gigs microSD chip (FRYS.COM had 8 gigs SDHC class 4 chips for under 20 USD ) and install your programs onto the “Storage Card” :-)

  • NetFront Browser v3.5

IMO the fastest rendering mobile browser out there currently. Not intended for “dummy-users” as it has a lot of settings accessible that may screw with your browsing-experience when set incorrectly.

It also needs mentioned that SKYFIRE is not a regular/full webbrowser, it's a frontend that 'displays/play-back' propietary formatted datastreams, composed and fed by backend-servers which are 'surfing' for you instead – which i consider a marketing-privacy issue.

“Mozilla Mobile” is a work in progress, it's called FENNEC. It's currently in alpha-status – you can look up the details on the Mozilla Foundation's Dev-sites. :-)
