<p>Here&#8217;s a trick to extend the ring time before the caller is sent to voice mail, which will hopefully give you the extra seconds needed to answer your phone.</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Start &gt; Settings &gt; Personal tab &gt; Phone &gt; Services tab</strong></li>
<li><strong>Select &#8220;Call Forwarding&#8221; from the list and press &#8220;Get Settings&#8230;&#8221;</strong></li>
<li><strong>In the &#8220;No answer&#8221; section, change the value of the &#8220;Foward after&#8221; to &#8220;30 seconds&#8221;</strong></li>
</ul>
<p>Now you have an extra 10 seconds of ring time before incoming calls are forwarded to Voicemail &#8211; its not much, but its better than the default 20 seconds!</p>

If you do not want them to show in your Start Menu, right-click on the shortcuts, select Properties and set them to be &#8220;hidden&#8221;.</em></p>
<p><em>Note 2: The shortcut to <strong>Windows Media Player</strong> resides in the AT&amp;T Music folder, so make sure to move that shortcut out of the AT&amp;T Music folder before deleting that folder. </em></p>
